Maybe it's just me because I'm on muscle relaxants at the moment, but I think the artwork is better than the prizes awarded. The comic entry was hilarious.

don't bet on it, you can find little toy polar bears in any gift shop during Christmas, so all he needed to do was put the ribbon and bow on it. Just goes to show that most judges of things like these really have no idea what they're judging.

Agreed. The polar bear is probably not hand made.
Strictly speaking, that entry is... meh. I'm not outraged that it won something or anything, but it probably wasn't that much effort.
